Using MS Word's Autoformatting Tool
Go to the "Format" menu and select "AutoFormat ..."
Click on the "Options..." button in the bottom left corner.
Uncheck "Internet and network paths with hyperlinks"
Click on the "AutoCorrect" tab and make the following selections.
