Three Validities

Internal validity means establishing that a treatment causes a change in behavior.

Construct validity means that you are connecting to the psychological constructs that you claim you are. You can believe the labels.


3.

External validity means that you can generalize the results to other people, places, and times. You can go, as Kurt Salzinger says, from "lab to life."
